What you’ll learn:

• Stages of grape growing and winemaking
• Main styles and types of wines
• Characteristics of common grape varieties
• Wine service and tasting techniques
• The WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT) and how to use to describe wines
• Basic principles behind pairing food and wine

Course format

• 6 hours of classroom learning that includes a 45 minute exam of 30 multiple choice questions
